Giving in memory

Giving a gift in memory of a friend or loved one is a wonderful way of remembering as well as celebrating their life.

There are several ways that you can do this.

Funeral donations

If you would like to remember a relative, friend or colleague in this special way we can offer you collection envelopes for donations in lieu of flowers.  The benefit of using collection envelopes is that we can claim Gift Aid, meaning that your donation could be worth around 25% more.  To order collection envelopes please call Charlotte on 020 3793 9182.

Other ways to make a donation in memory

Online here

By calling  020 7224 2020 (9 am-6pm, Mon-Fri).

By sending a cheque made payable to “The Silver Line”, indicating the name of the person who the donation is in memory of and your contact details.

Once we have your details, we will ensure that a letter confirming your kind gift is sent to you.

Create an online tribute fund

Setting up a tribute fund can be a simple and positive way of remembering someone you hold dear.  Each tribute fund bears the name of your loved one and anyone can donate into or raise money for your tribute fund.

If you have decided that you would like to collect donations at a funeral, a tribute fund can also provide a simple and central place for their collection. You can also easily include a funeral notice as part of the site, informing visitors of practical arrangements for the day of the funeral.     You can add pictures and memories to the tribute site before the funeral so that they can be shared on the day and then kept along with the eulogy as a more permanent tribute.

More information on tribute funds can be found here

If you would like more information or help in setting up a Tribute page, please call Charlotte on 020 3793 1982.  Thank you for thinking of The Silver Line at this time. Every gift will be used to help ensure that no older person needs to feel lonely or isolated.
