The Silver Line relies entirely on voluntary donations to fund our work. We do not receive any government funding. It is thanks entirely to the generosity of our supporters and partners that we are able to answer the 10,000+ helpline calls we receive every week.

We want you to feel completely secure when you donate to us.  We are members of the Fundraising Regulator and are committed to complying with the fundraising promise. You have the right to know that you can trust us to be honest and to treat you with respect.

We will ensure that

  • If you do not want to give, or wish to stop giving to us, we will respect your decision. We will never put pressure on you to make a donation.

  • Your data is safe with us.  We never sell on your details, and we comply with data protection law.

  • You can choose how we contact you and you can change this at any time – including how to opt out of future communications.  If you don’t want to hear from us, please do just let us know.

  • We will tell you the difference you’re making to our supporters.
