Olympic Abseil

Our first Twilight Abseil saw a team of brave thrill seekers experience the UK’s highest free fall abseil on Britain’s tallest sculpture, the ArcelorMittal Orbit.  Thanks to everyone who took part including a team of thirteen from Saga.

Could you take on this amazing 262 feet challenge above the city? Participants will experience an exhilarating ride down to the ground, taking in breathtaking 20-mile vistas across London, including iconic buildings such as The Gherkin, St. Pauls, Canary Wharf and Wembley Stadium, as well as the world-famous sporting venues of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Our 2018 Olympic abseil event will be in Silver Week (May 2018) giving a fantastic perspective of London’s skyline.  If you would like to take part, get in touch soon as places are going to disappear quickly for this incredible event!

Do I need experience?

No experience is necessary as trained professional instructors will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and all the specialist equipment required,  before escorting the Silver Line group to the upper viewing platform. From there, you begin your assent and will be guided all the way.
